If you are looking to purchase a tumbler cup with a straw for your kids keep the following in mind. First it needs to be able to handle repeated washes in the dishwasher without fading the character that is painted on it. Secondly the cup needs to be kid safe and your child should be able to drink out of it at any angle. Thirdly I make sure all the tumbler cups I buy for my little one are 100% BPA free! And last but not least consider the fit. I can’t tell you the number of times we’ve purchased cups that don’t fit in our vehicle cups holders. Heck there’s even a cup holder in the little guys mini 4 wheeler which makes him feel really big.
Children’s Cups With Straws
The lid needs to be leak proof naturally and ideally should have a weighted down straw. This will let them drink however they like even if they are tilting their head to the side. I also suggest finding a good quality cup with a solid lid. That sounds obvious, but some plastics are flimsy and break off. That’s not good.
More importantly check reviews before you buy a cup online. I advise buying online because of being able to read the cup’s reviews. This saves time and trouble and you can see if others have had problems with some of the things mentioned above.
Cups With Lids and Straws Reusable
And one very last important thing to keep your eye on when reading reviews is to watch for purchasers complaining about the inability to get the tumbler cups and straws completely clean. There are horror stories online of parents discovering their little one sucking on a straw with mold in it or finding mold on other areas that are hard to clean. Just something to be aware of.
