When I decided to buy a new spice rack with spices included I did not know how much work it would be. I soon discovered there are so many choices out there. Lots of the spice racks I saw online and in stores were gorgeous in stainless steel or with chrome lids and glass bottles. The more expensive ones cost well over $150 and were made of teak. I really had to think about what I wanted and what I needed before I bought the one I settled on.
First, I only wanted about 16 spices and not a whole library shelf of spices. That is because I know how often I cook and just how many spices I actually use. So, looking for a smaller rack was my first task. My second one was to find one that appealed to me. I preferred the chrome-lidded glass bottles in a revolving rack. But, the last task was to find one that I could easily order refills of the spices for.
I found several. Spice racks with the option of refillable spices just make it easier than having to stop and shop for an individual spice when you run low. I use some of these to spice up the juices I make with my Omega J8006 Masticating Juicer.
